Advice from the old man.
When I was about 13, my old man gave me some advice. He told me “Son, there’s two things you never lend to anyone, not even to your brother or your closest buddy: your wife, and your chainsaw.”
Whelp, he was right. I own a chansaw and a while back I lent it to my very own brother. See, a windstorm had moved through and knocked a huge branch off a tree in his yard. And wouldn’t ya know it, he left my chainsaw outside overnight and it rained. I have to buy a new muffler and chain and bar for it because they’re all rusted up now.
The old man is wise.
